Everlasting?

I planted these Everlasting Wallflowers as small plug plants earlier in the year. They have grown steadily through the summer and in the brightness this afternoon I spotted that one was at last flowering. I thought it looked very pretty with the droplets from the morning damp so chose it for my blip.

I hope they are 'Everlasting' at least for a year or two and then we can enjoy them all next summer. Something to look forward to as the winter 'bite' arrives from the East this week.

Speaking of the East, Grace, John and Eda have been in Goathland for a family 40th. Today they have been to see the seals at Ravenscar which Eda seemed to love. No extras left to share I'm afriad.
