DROPDAY!
My anemone plant has some flowers that are definitively gone, the seed head bold. one flower that blooms now for quite a long time and there are still several buds but I am not sure they will develop further.
I like the colour of the flower and I kneeled down several times to catch the drops in the morning.
A grey, dark day, in the afternoon pouring rain. We had a lot to do still and are glad that this evening we are invited by our very nice neighbours.
My haiku:
Flower in colour
Enveloped tears many of
Autumnal tristesse
And the proverb from Shakespeare:
Women's weapons, water-drops.
Remember it is the end of the sixteenth century.
