Home baking

MrT drove me to Perth so I could take train from there rather than using replacement bus service between Pitlochry & Perth. 

This meant we could enjoy the end of the Christmas Lights Weekend (rather early in my opinion) including a baking competition with a difference, where entrants created an edible map of Perth & surrounding area. Once judging was finished (crannog won) the buildings were cut up and slices handed out. 

I spent the morning planning winter walks - it's been a while since we did a "proper" walk but have lined some out to tempt us back out.

In today's other news I got tickets to see Kylie Minogue at Edinburgh Castle - not my usual musical selection but should be fun.
