Big Red Berries!

I know these are the Christmas baubles on the tree in Glasgow's George Square but I'm trying to kid myself that Christmas is still on the far horizon!

Barriers everywhere round the square as the preparations continue for the switching on of the Christmas lights ... it's dark now so the city centre event will be well under way but I don't think the lights are officially switched on till after 6pm.
