Lunch in Drumelzier

We had lunch in Drumelzier village Hall today. It had been arranged for a speaker to come and give a talk about the First World War, to be followed by the annual service of Remembrance in Drumelzier. Unfortunately the speaker became unwell and had to withdraw at the last moment. Two members of our congregation stepped into the breech and gave us talks - one about the involvement of Indian soldiers in the First World War and the other about the experience of his own family at that time.

The pictures are of Ros and Aran who were at the lunch, the ladies who served lunch and Drumelzier Kirk in the sunshine
