Autumn colours

Saw this colourful bramble in a walk up the road this morning and it reminded me of an artist friend who said that when students complain to her  there is nothing to paint she tells them to walk 20 yards (or any distance) then stop and look down at the ground.
“And you will find something….”
 

Today I looked in the hedgerow.
 It always works.
