Pink and blue

It's been a brilliant day again today - cold, clear and sunny. I went to the tunnels to help with some clearing up. They have the occasional work day and this time some of them were cleaning out a ditch and the rest of us having a fire to burn all sort of junk and also coppicings fom trees.

On the way home the quiet, single track road in Glen Lonan to the main road at Taynuilt was in shadow, but the hills ahead, including Cruachan, were bathed in late sunlight. I stopped many times for 'just  one more' picture, but as there was no traffic that wasn't a problem.

Once out on the main road I noticed the moon rising above Cruachan so had to stop and take yet another photograph, which is my Blip today. Probably going back tomorrow to do a bit more burning.
