Late Autumn in the forest

This morning we were pleased to be woken by blue skies and sunshine, perfect for my Sunday walk with Zeus09smum and Zeus. Today we returned to Theydon Bois where we had been soaked on Monday and we were not disappointed.  I took many photos on our sunshine walk and  decided on a collage to best sum up the lovely colours there today.
In extras is my little Violet, who came to see us later this afternoon.  When she first arrived she helped me stir the (made very late, I know) Christmas cake and then in this pic was writing notes as she gave us a good impression of her class teacher.
