Frosty leaf

Quiet day today so I had to look for a garden blip. The leaves on the ground were still frozen at lunch time. I know it's not a very good shot but I like the way you can see the shape of the crystals.
That reminds me of my first chemistry lesson for A levels, I was in a new class and the teacher wrote Xtals on the board. I was too nervous to ask what that meant. Luckily I'd worked out it was crystals by the end of the lesson.
