Constable's Cathedral View...
IF Constable had had a polarising filter in his armoury, maybe...
Took so many of the floods around Salisbury's Elizabeth Gardens, the Watermeadows and Harnham, late morning, this was only the third edited and thought - this'll do!
Only lens throughout was that 18-200mm DX Nikkor that I've been bemoaning but since I hadn't set out to take 'proper' photos (got waylaid when person wanted to meet wasn't available) I've likened to it, more. Always needs a spot of extra sharpening but this looks good and natural...
Contrast upped a bit, as was the red, a little. Otherwise, if you've not got a (good) polariser yet, what more will convince you??
Got the Salisbury Music Awards to officiously photograph tomorrow night, so a rest from photography til then - you know what to expect for tomorrow's, now!
