Welcome Thor!

Meet my new granddog!  He's such a sweet quiet little boy!  There's another cute picture of him in the extras.  It took a long time for the kids to want another dog after losing their sweet Chico last spring but yesterday was the day!  Becky found him at a rescue advertising on Facebook a few weeks ago.  It was love at first sight but she had a business trip and there were two adoption events while she was gone so she was sure he would already be taken.  She checked when she got home on Thursday and he was still available so it was obviously meant to be!  He's 16 weeks old and probably a Beagle mix but that's all we know so far.  The foster mom didn't have any of his past details when they picked him up yesterday so they're waiting for an email from the rescue with his backstory.  In the meantime, he is happily getting used to his forever home with Becky and Darrin!  We didn't bring Piper today when we went to meet him so he would have a chance to get to know us first, so tomorrow will be their first meeting.  She certainly gave us a good sniffing when we got home so she knows something is up. :-)

I am grateful that Thor was overlooked at the adoption events so he could go home with Becky!  The three of them are so happy!
