Don't go
The sun dropped low as we squeezed as much in to our walk as possible accompanied by the crunch of frost underfoot. As the last sliver slid behind the ridge, for a moment, I felt that irrational fear, for a moment, that the sun was disappearing and not coming back.
It's been a beautiful elemental time, with the moon and crisp cold winter sun today. Don't be thinking I'm too worried; the new blackout curtains will hopefully mean I won't be falling out of bed any time soon tomorrow to check it's reappeared!
PS there are birds if you go large :-)
