Brave Rose

We got the storm that was promised, with snow on the hills and a lot of rain. This little rose bud still chose to show itself today, despite the inclement weather.
Surrounding districts have snow on the ground, and the main mountain pass between Wanaka and Queenstown is closed.
Hopefully the roads will be better when we go for a few days holiday in
Te Anau tomorrow.
