Pendle Hill

The promise of a day of blue skies got us out of bed early and over to Barley to start our walk up Pendle Hill. We decided to do our regular walk but in the opposite direction, so rather than starting with a really stop uphill section, we’d have a gradual incline then a steep downhill at the end.

We really like this was of doing it, and it made the route feel almost like a new walk.

It didn’t end up being as nice weather as we’d hoped and was very very windy and misty at the top! Despite that it was a lovely day and worth the early start.
