Cold

Don't be fooled by the sunlight in this shot - it was colder than a cold thing this AM. I was out for an appointment with a nurse to take my blood pressure. While there I asked about my blood sugar and it transpires that this hadn't been checked on my latest blood test so it was agreed that the nurse would draw blood and ship this off to the phlebotomy pharies to check. Oh how we laughed when she couldn't find a vein but repeatedly stabbed at my forearms to see if she could make me bleed. In the end she went to find an expert and thus I was relieved of a few drops of O negative and the puncture wounds were covered with plasters.
