Female Chaffinch

The weather has been a lot colder today and there have been a lot more birds in  the garden. They were mostly sparrows, blue and great tits on the feeders and a quick visit from a pair of blackcaps that flew away before I could get the camera lined up. I hope that they'll be back and stay longer. 

At least this female chaffinch stayed for a while in my hawthorn tree, hopefully she'll bring the male with her next time.
