Serendipity

I had intended this photograph to show off the wonderful shape of this tree with its pendant leaves, but with the sun in my eyes, I wasn't able to get a good shot.  But by chance I got this image, with the couple talking at the table, which I like even better.  I may go back to try to get the tree, and the really interesting one next to it, on another day and time.

I'm still feeling really sad about Sharon, and it's frustrating that I haven't been able to talk with her since Saturday.  Today being her birthday, I sent her an E-card with the message, Even when you're sad, a birthday is still a fine thing.
