Thanksgiving cooking begins
The background oil painting is mine, of Provincetown, Massachusetts, where the Pilgrims first landed. The candles of Priscilla Mullens & John Alden belonged to my grandmother, Nora, and date to the early 1920s. Those wax figures also happen to represent Pilgrim ancestors on my Josselyn side. John and Priscilla had ten children, my line of Josselyns descend from their youngest son, David Alden.
For the Record,
This day came in wet and cold.
All hands looking forward to Thanksgiving Day
