Ancient and very modern.
Lunch at the Royal William Yard, very cold and windswept, i.e. the outside, not the lunch. Here we have a type 45 Destroyer, possibly HMS Duncan, one of the most up to date of our surface ships in contrast to the "back door" of the RWY where, when the old naval supply base was built in the early 1800s cattle were brought up on barges. They were then driven to the slaughter house though this gate. The extra is the view normally seen within the yard, although now in Winter mode.
