Crowded

This may be a little far-fetched, but the opposite side of the pond is crowded by birches. This is my entry to Mono Monday 252: Crowded. As you can see, a still day. The temperature was a couple of degrees below zero.

I had a massage in the afternoon. It seemed to help with my neck, but the evening spent in Tampere Theatre watching "Stones in His Pockets" ("Kiviä taskussa" in Finnish) did not. Otherwise a very enjoyable evening though. The play has been a success worldwide, though some productions have failed because the actors have not been up to the task (*). Martti Suosalo and Mika Nuojua in the Finnish version certainly don't fall into that category. Actually they may be the most successful team with this particular play anywhere: over 16 years and probably over 750 sold-out shows mostly in Helsinki, but lots of visits elsewhere. The English wikipedia page doesn't mention the Finnish production, but it certainly should!

* The task being 15 characters of both genders, aged between 8 and 75 years, and a cow, being played by just two actors, converting from one character to another in a second, mostly by just changing their voices and the way they stand and move. Not an easy task to do well.

Backblipped Sunday. Catching up slowly.
