I imagine the commissioning conversations: 

‘The carpets are already ordered and they’re tomato red with mustard and cream streaks in case of accidents - so will you do us something that will fit in? Oh, and put it in an expensive frame...’

Cold November evening in Glasgow, but it’s worth it to meet my wonderful Northern niece - she is between a conference and heading back north to parent three wonderful lads and preserve trees. I'm between the school run and our meditation group. She has 45 mins and I have 15, so together I reckon we have an hour.
