The prize bull
Normally I wouldn't venture anywhere near such a magnificent beast, but this one was different! Slightly larger than life-size, he's tethered on the verge outside a bungalow on a country road - MrM and I were rather surprised to pass him on the way back home this lunchtime. Maybe his owners have a prize bull?
We'd been to the tip in Berwick - MrM loaded the car full of wood and cardboard yesterday evening, ready for an early start, forgetting that the local recycling centre in Wooler is shut today. Then in to the centre of town to buy the last few things needed for the coming weekend, but more of that nearer the time.
Tai Chi this afternoon. The big tidy up in the spare room starts this evening. It may take a day or two...
Very sad news today. RIP Roy Bailey
