Nuclear Power!
I've been taking random shots to get used to my new Panasonic TZ5, when I took this shot of my Sis's gas fire. I liked the reflections of the fire which I'd never noticed before. I couldn't leave it alone. My old version of PH Elements 2 had decided it wouldn't work, so I've been umming and arring about downloading the new version 7. As a half way house for now I've opted to download the free trial.
Thankfully the important things are pretty familiar, just wish I had a bit more time to play with it. However, i did manage to produce this rather unusual effect.
Update: For those of you who are wondering what happened to my calorie burning challenge, the host deleted it by mistake, to most peoples huge disappointment! But not mine, since I got the start date completely wrong and started late, and so was well behind from the start!
Great news is that it restarts tomorrow. Getting ready for some serious burning!
2nd Update: Earlier in the week I posted about a sewage flood because of a pump failure which was resulting in the public being contaminated without realising what it really was. I've now complained to the relevant body, cc'ing it to a consumer council, parish and district councils. The support from all but the culprit has been wonderful, fingers crossed this gets this disgusting issue fixed.
