Curious……

These were the first of seven young heifers to make a ‘B’ line to where we were standing.

Not shy, but a little cautious, they happily settled to eat grass and chew their cud while only inches and a few strands of wire fence separated us.

 We are half way through another week and it’s Wide Wednesday with the theme environmental / workplace- with thanks to BobsBlips.

This farm belongs to a local iwi, near an area known as the Kumeras in Motueka, NZ.  


As always, this looks so much better in large and against the dark background.
