Burne-jones and a blip meet
A very enjoyable day meeting some fellow blippers and taking in the Burne-Jones exhibition at Tate Britain. The photo is of an embroidered wall hanging of Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit trees and orchards. It was designed in 1882 and Burne-Jones painted the face and hands directly on to the linen. Thank you hildarose for arranging the blip meet.
