The library

I feel I should explain my somewhat bombastic attitude yesterday. I had come home feeling joyful and appreciated and I had my lovely new radio set to enjoy as well. The weather had been dreadful all day and so I hadn't ventured outside apart from cycling to and from work. I needed a photo in order to share my happy news on blip but the camera was being just so toddlerish. For at least ten minutes I was switching it on, being told to turn the power off and back on again, and so on, ad iram. Eventually it conceded to taking a very poor photo of my new radio set, but by then the frustration had taken the edge off the joy.

But today was much better weather and so I did venture out at lunchtime and I now know that this building is my local library, where I can get refuse and recycling sacks and also borrow books.

The camera still took more than enough attempts to respond to the “on” button, but at least when it had, it wasn't argumentative. I suspect that it rather struggles with poor lighting and therefore taking this image was less of a battle. I can appreciate that it might struggle when I attempt to photograph a small matt black object in a poorly-lit corner, but I don't expect it to be confused by a binary on/off command.

Hilariously, the bank has asked me for feedback and I have provided it.
