A child’s perspective

My class had to write a poem today about colours. They had to describe the colours using senses other than sight. It was a writing assessment so I couldn’t give any assistance or make suggestions. When I was reading the planning sheets after the lesson, I was surprised to find this written on one of them. This boy is 9! Who knew it was affecting children in this way.
