The Boss?

We met this lovely lady at a bar and restaurant that we visited on Tuesday.   I believe that she is an English Mastiff, in spite of her huge size she is very gentle and enjoyed being patted and stroked.  Unfortunately the bar was very full so we were sat in the small garden and this lovely lady didn't come quite close enough to me.  Also it was trivia night and due to the large crowd her owner, who also owns the bar, decided that it would be better for her to be put upstairs, customers could easily trip over her as when she lay down she took up the whole passage way or blocked the entrance.  A young couple came in after us and the young lady was certainly nervous of stepping over her.  This is a place that we will visit again so hopefully I will get  some better shots of her and get to pat her myself.
