Away from the Storm

A wild day weather wise today. Huge winds whipped up dust storms from the far West of the state. Skies turned orange and red dust was deposited over Sydney. Rain made matters worse. We decided to walk in the bush this morning where we were shielded from the worst of it. White cockatoos, whip birds and other bird calls were delightful. The Cockatoos were a bit shy.
