Winterscape

This is the view on the banks of the Elbow river.

It is undoubtedly beautiful, yet although this the natural order of seasonal events here, the rapidity of the onset of winter always seems to catch me off guard.It is only e few weeks since i was taking pretty pictures of sunshine, colourful leaves and crystal clear running waters almost inviting me in for a paddle: not so at the moment.

The snow is beautifully light and if I go skiing this weekend it should be pretty special.
