Edinburgh Xmas

Every year about this time it's become almost a tradition with me to go into Edinburgh  just after sundown to capture the Edinburgh Xmas fairground lights. Armed with no more than a compact camera and a tripod I try to capture the spirit of the Edinburgh Xmas experience. This year I was favoured with a clear blue after light sky and a full moon and overall I felt  was more successful in the range of shots I took so I have included quite a few more in my extras. The whole experience is usually topped off with a mug of Gluhwein and as it was quite bitter yesterday evening that was more than welcome.
