The less-than-glamorous local carvery has closed down and in its place, a new Mediterranean restaurant. Ever swift to jump on a bandwagon, I signed up to receiving their updates. I'm glad I did because I was then invited to a charity night two days before their official opening. Good food and raising money for the local hospice? Yes please.

We are all mostly glad that we have a nice local that we can stumble home to.
