New starts

Some productive and good humoured discussions this morning then another episode in the interview process that went badly a couple of weeks ago. Went better today so hopefully all sorted now.
Dashed down to meet CW to go to the opening of Collective -a fabulous renovation of the original Edinburgh observatory on Calton Hill, abandoned shortly after opening since it was too smoggy to get good night time views (strange they hadn’t worked that out earlier!) and the professionals moved to Blackford Hill. The site's been closed to the public for 200yrs, only used by amateur astronomers, until this arts group took over.
The buildings and surroundings are great, and a glass box restaurant has spectacular views and it’s being run by the Gardeners Cottage people so the food will be great (canapés lived up to expectations!)
