Oil On Troubled Water

I've had another day and a half back at the Wood Workshop this week. I needed a shelf to go in a TV table I made for the holiday lodge. When we recently bought a new TV the sockets didn't take the 14 yr-old DVD player so we had to buy a new one of those, too. The new DVD player was far too small for the brackets which had held the old one so I had to make a new shelf!

Anyhow, I got the sanding of the jointed oak board finished today and oiled it. That reminded me it was a long time since I'd played with oil for blips. Cooking oil, bath oil and water!
