Pennies Cent from Heaven

At home I collect all my change in a large whiskey bottle like my Grandad did and eventually cash it in at the bank. I hate carrying it and coppers especially have little value, certainly in the USA.
However, since I arrived in the states I have been spreading a little luck. As checking in a couple of hundred cents only results in $2 or £1.40 and not worth paying to change into my own currency, I have been enjoying my own little fun.
Most will be familiar with the rhyme "Find a penny, pick it up and then all day you'll have good luck. Pass it on to a friend, then your luck will never end!"
So I have been I have been flicking, tossing, dropping my pennies all over towns and cities across the USA where I like the people, in the hope that people will pick them. I have even been lucky enough to be around to witness (on a monorail) when a Portuguese guy picked one up and repeated the rhyme.
Hopefully many more people have found them and enjoyed the good luck that comes with it. Today I dropped them outside the yoga centre I went to. I certainly was made to feel very welcome. Happy Saturday.
