Wotta Lotta Poets

Backblipping this evening's poetry event at the CLPE centre on London's South Bank. Many current children's poets gathered to help Roger Stevens celebrate 20 years of his online poetry site, aimed at children and teachers: The Poetry Zone. Several poets, including some children whose poems appear in the celebratory anthology, gave readings / performances - those pictured are only some of them. All good fun, and nice to see old faces and match names to new faces! I wonder if anyone recognises any of the poets here? The poetry of one, at least, regularly appears on the UK GCSE syllabus - and the poet is also a very entertaining performer. The book Roger Stevens' Poetry Zone is published by Troika who hosted the event.
