Unknown flowers

It has been such a grey day that we had lights on all day. Marion drove up from Newcastle and brought these flowers - they looks South African, certainly not from here. She lives part of the time in France so it has been a while since we had a chance to meet up. It was lovely to see her.

My Blurb book arrived and we are thrilled - the quality is excellent. I also got a new book to read “Empires of the Indus” by Alice Albinia. It is a mix of history and travel as she journeys up the Indus from the mouth to Tibet.
