Different...!

Spent the morning on a conference call, then headed over to be part of a visit for the Uni’s Chancellor (Princess Anne) to the research collections and Scottish studies archive. Took a long time, but mainly because she was so good with all the staff and students she met and spent so long with them all. Rather a different way to spend a day though, looking after a lady in waiting and a deputy lieutenant(!)
Back for a meeting then packed up and home. I’m going to focus on writing lists and sorting myself out this weekend...started by weighing out the fruit for some Christmas cakes and steeping in Grand Marnier...ready for stir up Sunday :)
