Look Grumpa!

We are in Bristol for the weekend.
It is a joy to see Eda again and she immediately wanted to show us her new toys. She still loves her walker and can now steer it around the house so that was her first choice and then her bike, which she can move with her feet but not yet steer quite as well. Here she is showing Grumpa her new kitchen which she was kindly given by one of Grace's friends. I love that she asks for her little pinnie on first. Hours of play ahead of her here. (The toaster actually pops up!)

We left her for half an hour with Grumpa before daddy got home as Grace and I were heading into Bristol for a pre theatre meal with her friend Lou and her mother. Lou's husband has directed a two man play put on in a theatre space in a former fire station in central Bristol. . It was called '5 Years'. About a couple who have split up after 5 years together but the twist is that she starts the story from the end and he starts the story from the beginning. Also interesting was the couple acting it are an actual married couple who are also friends of Grace and Lou.

We had a lovely evening and I've got more of Eda to look forward to tomorrow.
