Water play

A busy day, preparing for and chairing a meeting of the Peterborough Wildlife Group committee. It lasted rather longer than I'd anticipated, and was completely dark by the time the last person left. Still, a very productive and worthwhile afternoon.

I was resigned to having another gap in my journal, but then spotted clickychick's blip and was inspired to experiment with photographing oil on water, not something I've ever tried before. I couldn't find the ideal container, and I'm not sure my mix of oil, water and washing-up liquid was quite right, but I ended up with a couple of images that I quite liked. This was Pete's favourite.
