Big Mac

The huge Macaroni Penguin colony known as 'Big Mac'. Tens of thousands of aggressive little penguins nesting close together and surprisingly high up the slope. There are a few transect lines through the colony that we walk through, counting nests and later chicks in pre-determined quadrats.
