Still Raining

Happily! I'm sure by next week I'll be tired of it, but for now I'm enjoying real clouds - not even particularly dramatic ones.
Maybe this landscape looks bleak, but it is a birder's paradise. Today many little songbirds were flitting around the wild fennel in the dry spells, and I encountered a turkey vulture and a northern harrier, both intent on their hunt and flying little more than head high.
