Salem in action
This morning, we took advantage of another hole in the clouds to take a walk at the park. The leaves in this area formed a massive slippery carpet hence Salem was sliding down the little hill between the two trees. She seems to be doing fine although I can feel some more lumps...
We spent the afternoon at my sister's house and ate a ton of food. Her two kids were there with their significant others (one of whom is new and this was the first time he met the extended family). Fun times. I am very grateful for my family!
Son developed a bad headache so we left a bit early, hopefully it won't turn into a full-blown migraine. Must have snowed a lot in the mountains because at this moment Snoqualmie Pass is actually closed and that's pretty unusual for this early in the year.
I also had some time to play with my gel plate and paints - I made 2 thank you notes to send to my CA friends whom I saw last week (they both gave me early birthday gifts and of course, the one hosted me for 3 days). Picture of the cards is in the extras.
