After the action of Saturday, Sunday was more low key. Well initially.
Things kicked into gear at lunchtime as we cycled to Broughton to drop Tom with the Gaelic fitba team; they were off to Clydebank for the final game of the year there; then Alex and I continued into town to meet her; frostiness having thawed a little. A stroll along Princes St and a coffee (McDonalds for Alex) as we looked for winter jackets for grown ups; which lead to groans.
Slowly we ended up walking her home in the sunshine and then cycled down the Mound; dodged the worst of the Christmas light switch on and in. A roast went on; and we collected Tom around 6 before a lazy roast / crumble combo rounded off the day.
