Now
just don't you come too close Mr Swan!
Rather overdid it this morning.
I took some bread to the park and fed the ducksswans, geese and pigeons. Incidentally didn't see a single duck!
Managed to take over 260 photographs in the freezing cold in by the canal, using either scenery or panning. I've learnt so much by reading parts of the Camera Manual this week....
This is a young swan who hasn't lost the grey feathers yet, insisted on trying to follow me after I'd finished the bread off. I had to get away, but thankfully he didn't get too close when I waved my stick a little at him.
This one was the best of several shots of him. In the other shots, his face was out of focus or he was too close for a complete.
Some more shots of my morning here! I have had trouble deciding which image to use. If you think there is a better one, let me know~it maybe changed later!
Couldn't feel my fingers by the end, so I struggled over to our local 'family' Store and got myself a coffeee and thawed out. That wasn't in the plan, but I was also feeling rather strange, and felt my heart slowing down, I think because of the cold and the fact I can't walk too quickly.
Can anyone advise me about central heating? Mine is not getting up to 18 degrees at the moment, is it just because its so cold out there? or have I got the the portable thermostat in the wrong place. Its a new boiler (one year ago). The only other thing I can think of is if the thermostat battery is running low?
This afternoon I will be concentrating on a little craft for Christmas presents and mainly doing some catchup housework, then relaxing!
A rather busy day tomorrow, so not sure when/where I will be blipping! It might end up being a back blip or a very late blip....
Work will be followed by meeting with friends who are taking me out to our new Nando's where I have never eaten before, followed by an extra shift at Street Pastors.
Have a great day blippers and stay warm:)
