Do You Think That's Enough Chocolate Chips?

Since the weather has turned colder, it suddenly feels like time for cooking nice meals and baking. My husband requested cookies, and so I made him some. His favorite kind is peanut butter with chocolate chips. He gets to pick which types of chips, as we have several varieties.

What you see above is the part in the baking process where the chips got dumped in. The bigger chips are Ghirardelli dark chocolate, and the smaller ones are Hershey's semi-sweet. Do you think that's enough chips? Nah, I think I'll add a few more! :-)

For the hungry, here is the cookie recipe: 2 cups peanut butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons baking soda, 1 pinch salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Preheat oven to 350, grease cookie sheets. Stir together peanut butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in the baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Stir in a bag (more or less) of chocolate chips, of your favorite variety! Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Press a criss-cross into the top using a fork. Bake for 8 and a half minutes in preheated oven. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet before removing to a cooling rack. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
