Alpine gums at Mt Baw Baw

My family joined other scout leader families for a weekend at Mt BawBaw in a large ski chalet belonging to the grown up Rover scouts.
35 friendly and energetic people can make a whole lot of noise!

What a beautiful location for a weekend.
I really like these alpine guns with their multi-coloured stripey bark.

I had an ambitious sewing project to start, so I must have appeared less than social, sitting in quiet sunny spots (indoors and outdoors), sewing away, rather than rushing off on hikes.
For the record, I did go on a short peaceful walk where I took this shot.
