Soda bread

Inspired by Auslaender, W decided to make soda bread today.  It's lovely - nice crispy crust, and flavoursome inside.  The only problem being that Auslaender's recipe called for 420ml buttermilk, but buttermilk is only available in 284ml cartons, so now we have 148ml left!  What can we do with that - any suggestions?

Meanwhile, I have framed another 3 pieces of needlework.  We now have a collection of 5 or 6 pictures to find places to hang.  They may feature in tomorrow's blip.

W is now out in his shed playing with his sled, and practising cutting half-lap joints.  I look forward using the finished product.
