slow day

After the excitement of yesterday's night on the town, we decided to have a slow day today and not go anywhere.

I made a sourdough loaf, did some quilting, read my book* and spent the afternoon gardening. D made the tea and then we watched an episode of "Better Call Saul" on Netflix. When I've uploaded this blip, it will be time for a phone call with my parents (if they're not out on the town..) and then an early night.

*now reading "The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd, given to me by Lizzie and highly recommended.
