Lamb for Easter?
At the local farm shop the winter lambing is in progress. It is not on the scale of the main lambing; the breed needs to be quite hardy and if the weather gets bad they need to be able to get them all into a barn. To make sure there is British lamb available at Easter enough are produced to meet the local demand.
This is one of the first produced and is already quite big (well it is if you compare it to some of the more recent additions).
Missed the buzzard again today. I saw it sat on a fence post, so I stopped the car a little way along and got out quietly with my camera ready. I found somewhere with a good view through the hedge and at that moment the buzzard was dive bombed by the crows and it flew off. Oh well tomorrow is another day.
